Abstract
Existing models of meteorite fall are difficult to validate, since actual observations of the dark flight trajectory are unavailable. The study presented here aims at developing so-called ‘InfoDroplets’ that can be ejected at altitude and physically simulate the flight of meteorites. Four phases of the Droplet hardware and software development are described, along with the learnings of each test. Final phase testing and the development of the casing for free-fall testing are underway
